Post-Tax Deadline Product Update
September 3, 2026
With the September 15 tax deadline behind us, here’s a look at the major improvements we’ve shipped across Wesley to help firms onboard clients faster, close books with more confidence, and deliver better client service.
What’s New
Migrations & Integrations
-
QuickBooks Desktop/Online Bulk Migration
Bulk-create clients from QuickBooks Desktop.QBWand.QBBfiles or multiple QuickBooks Online companies, with guided setup, durable imports, and clear migration status. -
BILL Integration
Connect an existing BILL organization and bring vendors, bills, payments, and vendor credits into Wesley with reviewed accounting mappings. The integration reads from BILL without changing provider records or sending payments. -
Reviewed Two-Way Xero Sync
Connect Xero during client setup and review accounts, invoices, credit notes, bank transactions, and payments before syncing in either direction.
Accounting Operations
-
Multi-Entity Accounting & Consolidated Reporting
Organize related entities in a shared accounting workspace and produce group-level consolidated reports. -
Close, Tax Handoff & 1099 Workflows
Coordinate close work across clients, track readiness and approvals, lock completed periods, prepare tax handoffs, and retrieve 1099 information. -
Inventory & Fixed Asset Accounting
Track FIFO inventory across multiple warehouses, process partial returns, and manage fixed asset setup, depreciation, and posting. -
Smarter Banking & Reconciliation
Use guided bank setup, running book balances, current and last-reconciled balance context, and safer duplicate review across bank and QuickBooks feeds. -
Recurring Transactions, Invoicing & Payments
Manage recurring invoices, checks, and transfers; use biweekly schedules and invoice deductions; and collect client payments through improved billing workflows.
Reporting & Client Experience
-
Custom Reports, Dashboards & Client Reporting
Build editable reports and KPI dashboards from ledger data, include dashboards in client report packages, and export or email polished PDFs. -
Client Onboarding & Portal Workflows
Standardize onboarding and offboarding while giving clients one place for requests, files, reports, integrations, invoices, and secure connection handoffs. -
Power BI Integration
Connect firm data to Power BI through a firm-scoped, read-only reporting feed designed for refreshable dashboards and semantic models.
AI Guidance & Developer Access
-
Interactive UI Guide
Ask how to complete a workflow from any Wesley screen. UI Guide highlights the next control one step at a time, continues across workspace navigation and popups, and can run read-only client investigations when a question depends on accounting data. -
Personal API Keys & Wesley MCP
Use Wesley’s core workflows from Claude, ChatGPT, or custom agents with your existing permissions. Personal API keys and Wesley MCP support client management, accounting, reporting, QuickBooks Online, payroll integrations, and other approved operations, while sensitive actions retain permission checks and approval gates.
Available Upon Request
-
Custom Domain
Use a firm-branded domain for your Wesley workspace and client portal. -
Bank API Statement Access
Bring bank statements and check images directly into Wesley through the Bank API, reducing one-by-one check downloads and making reconciliation faster and easier. -
Auditor/Reviewer Seats
Add dedicated seats with controlled access for auditors or reviewers who need to inspect reports and completed accounting work.
